Government Holkar (Model, Autonomous) Science College, Indore (M.P.) is going to host an IPR Awareness Program on January 28, 2026, with the objective of creating awareness among students, faculty members, researchers, and entrepreneurs about intellectual property rights (IPR) and their role in innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic development.
The program is being organized by MSME-DFO Indore, in collaboration with IIT Indore and Drishti CPS Foundation, and supported by the Department of Chemistry, Government Holkar (Model, Autonomous) Science College, Indore, and the Holkar Innovation and Incubation Foundation, Indore.
The sessions will include expert talks that provide insightful and informative presentations on various aspects of intellectual property rights:
Shri Nilesh Trivedi is going to deliver a comprehensive presentation on copyright, geographical indications (GI), and trade secrets, along with an overview of IPR initiatives by the Government of India under the Ministry of MSME. His lecture is going to highlight the government support mechanisms available for innovators and startups.
Advocate Shri Rakesh Soni from Goodwill Intellect will give a detailed talk about patents, industrial designs, and trademarks, covering the laws, how to register them, and why they are important for protecting inventions, brands, and new industrial ideas.
Dr. Archana Chaudhary will deliver an insightful presentation on IP technology commercialization, focusing on how intellectual property can be effectively transformed into marketable products and services, thereby bridging the gap between research, innovation, and industry.
Shri. Vaibhav Jain, Technical Officer at IITI DRISHTI CPS Foundation, IIT Indore, will be discussing on IPFC Support by Drishti CPS Foundation IIT Indore.At DRISHTI CPS IIT Indore, he plays a pivotal role in mentoring deep-tech startups, supporting them in AI-driven product development, technical validation, and go-to-market strategies.
The program will be graced by Shri Tarkeshwar Singh, retired district and sessions judge and registrar, MP High Court, Indore, as the chief guest, whose presence will add tremendous value to the event. Mrs. Varsha Jain, president of the women's wing of Laghu Udyog Bharti, Indore will join the programme as special guest
