One Day Workshop on “Identification of Local Freshwater Fishes”

The Department of Fisheries organized a One Day Workshop on “Identification of Local Freshwater Fishes” to provide students with practical exposure to the identification and basic classification of freshwater fish species found in the local region. The workshop provided participants with an opportunity to understand the important identifying features, species diversity, and ecological significance of freshwater fishes.

The workshop was conducted by Shri M.M.P. Shrivastava, Chairman, Governing Body, Government Holkar Science College, Indore, who served as the subject expert. The event was coordinated by Dr. Santosh Gaharwal, Head, Department of Fisheries.
